Electric Pocket Bikes
Pocket bikes were first popularized in Europe as specialized racing
motorbikes. Traffic laws vary by state, but for the most part minibikes
are illegal for
use on public roadways since most do not carry the necessary equipment
(and often size requirements) to be street legal. The typical rider of
these bikes are 13 year old boys who are the right size and mental
maturity for the toy. In the past recent years, gas-powered pocket
bikes have become so popular that organized competition called Mini GP
Racing are springing up all over the country.
Razor Mini Electric Pocket Rocket
The most popular mini electric pocket rocket bike is made by Razor. In fact, their mini bike is called the Pocket Rocket. Basically, it is a small version of a real street bike, in basic general looks and design. This electric bike can reach the speeds of 15 mph and carries up to 170 pounds. It can operate up to 30 minutes in a single charge. Since it is driven by an electric motor, the Razor Mini Electric Pocket Rocket is quiet. A lot quieter than their gas-powered counterpart. Much slower, too, but that's beside the point.

- Open Question: How can I put a kill switch on a pocket bike?
My pocket bike has no wiring and I want to know how to install a kill switch - 4 hours ago
- Open Question: I-pod not turning on (tried resetting, charging, leaving alone, etc)?
I-pod totally charged and working fine one moment, I turned it off and set it down for a few hours come back and its completely unresponsive. Tried resetting, tried plugging it into the computer (Computer didn't pick it up), tried leaving alone, tried charging it, nothing. Can it have been burnt out by heat? I was bike riding with it in my pocket in 110 degrees direct sun, its done alright so far in similar temperatures. Any ideas? *Note: I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia, electricity for one day a week, and the nearest apple store is well an ocean away... - 30 hours ago
- Open Question: Can paypall just refund my money?
My husband sold some bike forks through a bike forum last week, he posted them stupidly just as a standard parcel, the person buying them paid via paypall, and put a claim in 3 days after they were sent. Knowing they were sent standard he really should have waited atleast 10 days... as u cant even recieve a birthday card these days within three working days! weve emailed the buyer a reciept from the post office to prove that they were sent, but he is saying he hasnt recieved them and even escalted the claime the following day... my husband has constantly txt and phoned to keep in contact with the buyer , either getting ignored half the time or recieving a blunt response... not really what u would expect if this person was out of pocket £240 for something he has paid for... ? my husband contacted him this AM to get a response of "they been nicked out post then" pretty convinient ? i know its my husbands fault entirly for not sending recorded.... but can paypall just refund the money to the buyer on his word? we have proof that something was sent to him... ad for him to just say nicked out the post then? seems pretty convinient, were now £240 out of pocket as we cant transfer the money till paypall resolve the issue... but in reality , the item could already be with him... or it hasnt actually turned up yet ? standard parcel can take up to 10 days... i paid express delv for a pair of shoes once and they took 9 days?! just seems that the buyer has been pretty hasty with trying to recover this money after just three days?? any advice? xx - 3 days ago
- Resolved Question: Switchblade question again.?
Ok, I'm 15. I already know now that I can carry my blade at work as a fire cadet. I would like to know if I can carry my spring assisted 4 inch tanto blade style smith and Wesson rescue knife around. For example, I'm going to bike downtown with friends. Can I carry it clip into my pocket legally. It's technically not a switchblade because it does require force on the blade to open it. It would be in a closed position, and concealed kinda in my pocket with the clip only sticking out on my pocket opening. So carrying it in public I'm guessing is legal, but is it legal for me(a minor) to carry this around for defense only? Second, just for curiosity, would I be allowed to pull it out to show my friends or something then put it away? My parents are fine with me carrying blades, I own several automatic switchblades at my house, along with hunting knifes and such. And btw I live in northern California siskyou county. Mount Shasta.
